About the Role We’re looking for a high-energy, resilient, and resourceful Founding BDR to be the "tip of the spear" for our U.S. expansion. As our first dedicated BDR, you won't just be making calls; you will be architecting the outbound engine that fuels our entire sales organization.
Your mission: identify high-value targets, spark interest in complex financial institutions, and secure the discovery meetings that drive Heka’s growth.
You’ll work in lockstep with the Founding AE and leadership to test messaging, map the market, and refine our top-of-funnel playbook. This is a career-defining opportunity to join a Series A startup at the ground floor and help define a new category in fintech intelligence.
Responsibilities
Execute High-Volume Outbound: Own the top-of-funnel execution via personalized email, LinkedIn, and cold calling to build a consistent pipeline.
Strategic Account Mapping: Research and map key stakeholders within complex organizations like Tier 1 banks and pension funds to identify ideal entry points.
Qualify Leads: Conduct initial discovery to ensure prospects have the pain points and budget that align with Heka’s AI capabilities.
Craft Messaging: Partner with Marketing and the Founding AE to iterate on outbound sequences and persona-driven value propositions.
Build the Prospecting Playbook: Document successful outreach tactics, objection handlers, and market insights to help scale the BDR function.
Optimize CRM: Maintain a clean and organized CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) to ensure seamless hand-offs to the AE team.
Qualifications
Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the U.S.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in B2B tech sales or lead generation (bonus for experience in fintech or fraud prevention).
Communication Skills: Native-level English with exceptional writing skills and the ability to articulate complex technical values simply.
Grit and Resilience: You have a "builder" mentality and the persistence required to break into large, traditional financial institutions.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with modern sales stacks (e.g., SalesNav, Lemlist, HubSpot, Monday CRM).
