
IT Domain Architect for Sales (d/m/f)

Your Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve the global Sales domain architecture (target state, principles, standards, reference architectures)
Set architectural guardrails for the Sales domain and approve target architecture decisions across initiatives
Translate Sales strategy and business priorities into architectural direction and a multi-year roadmap
Drive harmonization and modernization across applications, integrations and data flows within the Sales domain
Steer architectural decisions through architecture reviews, decision forums and governance mechanisms
Define and enforce domain-wide architecture standards and quality guardrails (e.g., security, resilience, compliance, etc.)
Maintain transparency of the landscape and support consolidation using LeanIX and related EA practices
Represent the Sales domain in architecture boards and decision forums, drive cross-domain alignment with Enterprise and Solution Architecture
Act as a trusted sparring partner for Business and IT leaders, shaping priorities and roadmap decisions for the Sales domain
Identify and reduce technical/architectural debt through prioritized initiatives that reduce complexity, cost and risk
Monitor technology and architecture trends and assess their applicability to continuously evolve the Sales domain
Your Qualifications
Academical Degree in technical field
Several years of experience in IT architecture (domain, solution or enterprise architecture), ideally in a Sales context
Strong understanding of Sales capabilities and landscapes (e.g., CRM, CPQ, pricing, customer interaction, etc.), including interfaces/integration and data flows
Proven experience driving transformation programs (harmonisation, modernisation, global rollouts) in complex, international environments
Familiarity with enterprise architecture practices (e.g., TOGAF concepts) and experience using LeanIX or similar tooling
Strong stakeholder skills and the ability to drive decisions with senior business and IT leaders
A clear ownership mindset: self-directed, accountable, proactive, and comfortable operating with high autonomy in a global setup
Fluent English and German
