Position Overview As a Consulting Manager, you will lead strategic engagements across the Japanese healthcare market. You will be expected to manage client relationships, oversee project teams, and deliver high-quality, actionable insights on commercial strategy, R&D, market access, and digital transformation.
Location Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid working available)
Language Native or fluent Japanese and strong business-level English
Key Responsibilities
Manage life science consulting projects from strategy through execution
Develop and maintain senior-level client relationships
Guide junior consultants and ensure successful project delivery
Support business development and proposal creation
Contribute to internal knowledge building and practice growth
Requirements
5–8 years of experience in management or strategy consulting
Proven experience in the life sciences sector (pharma, biotech, or medtech)
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Native or fluent Japanese and business-level English
Advanced degree in life sciences, business, or a related discipline preferred
