Job Description GENERAL PURPOSE:
To increase sales volume/revenue through expanded market share. To stabilize and increase the gross margin of those sales with correct information, quality design and a sound financial plan. Under the direction of the Region Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sets and reviews goals with account executives
Strategizes on design concepts and estimating prices to identify features, benefits and associated cost, including potential ROI for customer
Coaches and evaluates account executives, including individual training on and off site with sales and clients
Coordinates and manages the design function
Resolves customer complaints that rise above what the account executive can deal with effectively
Resolves employee conflicts between departments
Formulates and conducts weekly sales meetings for ongoing sales training
Attends weekly productions meetings to review design, estimating and production scheduling
Coordinates and manages customer priorities, operations, and financial results with region management group
Reviews and negotiates contract terms and conditions – reviews and approves commissions/wages associated with large projects
MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Attends networking opportunities such as chamber/civic functions and volunteer organizations
Coordinated and supports the Government Relations Committee – reviews and speaks to local city governments groups including city councils and planning commissions
Conducts employee reviews for account executives and support staff.
Performs other functions as necessary or assigned
NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS
Has direct oversight and performs employee reviews on on 12-15 employees.
Has indirect leadership with the admin, permitting and estimating as well as project management.
Motivational skills are required to help account executives, designers, and others realize their potential.
Provides strategic leadership for financial goals and objectives.
Must have the ability to persuade others to adopt necessary changes.
Formulates the training and trains others on financial analysis.
Trains on survey skills well as the skills required to consult with customers on design functions including readable distance and the use of industry materials and techniques.

A Master’s degree in business with a focus on data analysis, marketing, advertising, and communication is preferred with a Bachelor’s degree in business with a strong emphasis in communication and marketing and an understanding of statistical analysis, economics and accounting, plus a minimum of fifteen years’ experience, or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint; NetSuite ability
The ability to analyze and formulate solutions from raw data
The ability to manage and motive account executives
The ability to coordinates and manage competing and complex customer priorities involving operations, and financial issues and resolve escalated issues as required
