From creating the home standby generator market category, to our current evolution into an energy technology solutions company, we continue to push new boundaries.The Senior Manager, Digital Product Management will lead a team of digital product manager and content management specialists responsible for identifying, describing, and prioritizing the feature backlog, ensuring that work is focused on key areas and that the most valuable features are delivered to end-users across Generac’s various business lines. As well as responsible for executing all changes in our Content management system. This role is responsible for partnering with the development team (IT) to develop and deliver exceptional digital user experiences.Major Responsibilities**Thought Leadership & Innovation*** Establish the vision and strategy for the Generac Home website experience which includes Home Standby Generators, Smart Home, Solar and Battery, and Portable Generators.* Ensure site and journey is optimized for maximum lead generation and consumer engagement.* Own the thought process and storytelling for OKRs* Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to inform product direction.* Champion innovation within the product portfolio, identifying opportunities for differentiation, efficiency, and user delight.**Leadership & Team Management*** Directly manage and develop a team of product managers and content specialists, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development support.* Set clear objectives and performance expectations for the team, ensuring alignment to business goals.* Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-centric product culture.* Oversee workload allocation and delivery planning across team members and initiatives.**Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership*** Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap for a portfolio of digital products or major multidimensional product across customer journeys and touchpoints.* Align product priorities with enterprise digital strategy, business objectives, and financial targets.* Own end-to-end portfolio performance, using KPIs, market feedback, and analytics to iterate and optimize.**Cross-Functional Collaboration*** Act as the senior liaison between product, design, development, and business stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and successful product outcomes.* Represent product leadership in enterprise planning discussions, ensuring digital strategies support broader company objectives.* Guide cross-functional teams to focus on scalable, user-centered, and technically sound solutions.**Operational Excellence*** Review and approve product plans and feature sets developed by team members to ensure alignment with strategy and quality standards.* Drive continuous improvement in product development practices, backlog management, and release processes.* Promote best practices for user research, UAT, experimentation, and iteration.Minimum Job Requirements**Education**Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience**Work Experience**8+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Sr. Product Manager working in an agile environment or similar position in digital product management experience. Including experience managing a team of product managers/product owners.**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities**Deep knowledge of agile scrum methodologyExperience in working in a matrixed organizationAbility to understand and synthesize complex business and technical requirementsExperience in managing product roadmaps and backlogs in a high-velocity environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities**Preferred Job Requirements****Certification / License**Certified Scrum Product Manager**Work Experience**Experience managing websites with multiple business lines under one siteExperience in digital experience strategy and development**Physical Demands**: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
