Job Description
Salvatore Outdoor is seeking a creative and client-focused Outdoor Living Designer / Showroom Design Consultant to join our team. This role combines design, sales, and client consultation, helping customers create beautiful and functional outdoor living spaces including furniture layouts, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, and accessories.
This position is based in our Montgomeryville showroom and involves working directly with homeowners, interior designers, builders, and walk-in retail clients.
We are looking for someone with a strong design sense who enjoys working with people and helping bring their vision to life.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients in our showroom to design outdoor living spaces including:
Outdoor furniture layouts
Outdoor kitchens and cabinetry
Shade structures and outdoor features
Assist walk-in retail customers purchasing outdoor furniture and accessories
Work with interior designers, builders, and homeowners to select products that fit their projects
Create design concepts, layouts, and product selections for clients
Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on client needs
Prepare quotes and proposals
Follow up with clients to complete sales and ensure satisfaction
Maintain showroom displays and assist with merchandising when needed
Stay up to date on current design trends, furniture collections, and outdoor living products
Qualifications
Background in interior design, kitchen design, furniture sales, or showroom consulting preferred
Strong sense of style, layout, and space planning
Comfortable working directly with clients in a sales + design environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Organized and detail oriented
Ability to work Saturdays (required for showroom schedule)
Experience with design software (SketchUp, CAD, or similar) is a plus but not required
