ABOUT THIS ROLE BerlinRosen is seeking an Account Coordinator to support our account teams combating antisemitism, advancing key advocacy efforts within the Jewish community, promoting inter‑faith dialogue and fostering Jewish cultural and educational initiatives, as well as areas including, but not limited to, reproductive rights, impact investing, labour, and environmental justice.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference with impactful communications campaigns and mission‑driven work. The Account Coordinator will thrive in a fast‑paced environment and be willing to dive right into integrated communications—including both earned and digital media. This person will be a team player who will support client relations and execute our strategies to help our clients achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a passion for news and a desire to learn about how to drive winning communications campaigns.
ROLE LOCATION This role is based in our New York, N.Y. or Washington, D.C. office on a hybrid basis. The Impact team is in‑office 3 days per week.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS As an Account Coordinator on our Impact team, you will…
Contribute creative ideas, conduct research and support writing for strategic communications
Write polished communications materials including media advisories, briefing documents, press releases, statements, emails, social content and calendars, media analyses and strategic memos
Monitor media and social accounts, and proactively brainstorm ideas for pitching our clients to reporters, digital media content and more
Conduct strategic and thorough media outreach, liaising with reporters to land stories for our clients
Coordinate logistics for interviews, social media post timing, reporting, event details, etc.
Build outreach lists as appropriate, from media lists to industry influencers
Help manage workflow and project management for your account teams
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Internship or other relevant communications experience in public relations, public affairs, media relations, journalism, issue advocacy, political campaigns or a related field
Has knowledge of the current media and digital landscape in order to have a strong sense of what’s newsworthy, an understanding of a wide range of news outlets/mediums and digital trends
The ability to multi‑task easily by handling multiple assignments at once, working efficiently and meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment while paying close attention to details
Strong written and oral communication skills
Is technically fluent with tools such as Google Suite products, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Understands organising and advocacy communications, including social media campaigning and local, state or national politics
WORKING AT BERLINROSEN The salary for this role is $64,350.
