Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Interior Designer based in Overland Park, KS, with flexibility for some work from home. The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing interior design projects while collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors. Responsibilities include space planning, creating construction drawings, selecting furnishings, finishes, and equipment (FF&E), and ensuring designs are both functional and visually appealing. The role requires balancing creative design with practical implementation, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline specifications.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional and visually appealing environments
Experience with Architecture and Construction Drawings to ensure designs meet structural requirements and project specifications
Knowledge of FF&E (furnishings, finishes, and equipment) selection to align with client preferences and project design intent
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, architects, and contractors
Proficiency in design software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar applications
Relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Previous experience in residential or commercial design projects is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment
