Director Program Management SAS PMO GBE within BA Honeywell Building Solutions seeks a global, W2W program manager to lead highly strategic initiatives of varying complexity that are pivotal to BA's long‑term growth objectives. This role reports to the SAS PMO Leader and is responsible for driving strategic, mission‑critical projects and initiatives to achieve overarching program goals, utilizing a pragmatic and results‑oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for overall execution, budget, performance and financial goals and owns / leads the planning & execution of key NPI program for assigned portfolio.

Ensure adherence to Honeywell Z21 NPI processes, working closely with stakeholders to meet all program requirements.

Drive NPI product delivery, quality, service, and financial targets. Proactively manage portfolio and project risks, promptly notifying business leaders of any deviations and developing timely recovery plans.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of assigned projects. Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to portfolio project managers, team members, and peers.

Establish and implement standardized Key Process Indicators (KPIs), including leading indicators, to measure program effectiveness and foster continuous improvement.

Oversee tracking and reporting of NPI performance and execution, utilizing data analytics and Accolade, the project portfolio management tool, to identify growth opportunities.

Collaborate with the SAS Finance Team to prepare and manage budgets for the portfolio throughout the Annual Operating Planning (AOP) and forecasting processes.

Implement and lead the Monthly Newsletter Reviews to share the portfolio performance with assigned teams, SAS & BA Leadership.

Demonstrate expert oral and written communication with project teams and stakeholders, effectively sharing commitments, status updates, and driving actions to meet objectives.

Performance Expectations

Successfully complete the commercialization of assigned programs consistent with established metrics (i.e., achievement of sales goals, customer satisfaction, NPV, schedule conformance, Budget).

Lead all aspects of the value chain—such as marketing, sales, and services—to achieve the product's defined objectives.

Maintain consistent and credible communication with key stakeholders through status reports, reviews, Pre‑PAC/PAC updates, and transparent reporting of risks, issues, successes, and setbacks.

Leverage tools and resources—including MS Project, MS Office, Resource Management, SAP Fiori, Accolade PPM, Rally, Jira, Confluence, forecasting spreadsheets, and budget planning/tracking—to manage programs efficiently.

Maximize the use of available technology and portfolio resources to drive results.

Ensure deliverables are aligned with customer requirements and expectations while fulfilling business objectives.

You Must Have

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field with 12+ years of experience.

Minimum of 7 years of proven track record of successful project and program management in a complex, matrixed environment with multi‑functional, global teams. Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies.

Digital savvy and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.

Long‑term strategic thinking balanced with near‑term execution skills. Strong problem‑solving capability.

Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive fast‑paced growth.

Highly self‑motivated, self‑directed with capacity to deliver against multiple objectives.

Proven ability to develop and lead global, cross functional, project teams.

PMI Certification

Experience with Accolade or other PPM tools

Broad SW | FW | HW experience in product development, program management, operations and sales

Strong financial acumen and prior experience in business strategy consulting is advantageous

Other Important Information About This Position

This position is location is Pittsford, NY, and this role will manage local and geographically diverse program teams of employees and contract staff.

Occasional travel is required.
