Georgia‑Pacific is seeking an Editor Operator at our Hummingbird® facility in Phoenix, AZ.

$25.50 per hour
3rd Shift Differential: $2 per hour (total $27.50 per hour)
Shift
3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Must be available and flexible to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
First 2 weeks of orientation will be on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM).

What You Will Do
Prepare rolls, perform quality checks / data entry and complete change‑outs on the rewinder.
Set up, troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to the rewinder.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks and quality checks on the rewinder.
Perform housekeeping duties such as disposing of waste in hopper and sweeping debris around work area to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.
Operate mobile equipment to safely move paper rolls to staging areas for shipping.
Operate mobile equipment to safely load and unload roll stock.
Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
Perform tasks such as lifting up to 35 lbs., walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in an industrial environment.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
At least one year of experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar work environment.
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience working within the corrugated packaging industry.
Experience working with sheeters, die cutters, and printing presses.
