District Sales Manager – HVAC & Air Filtration

Responsibilities

Builds and maintains strong relationships with facility teams, mechanical contractors, and distributors by using a consultative, solution‑based approach to selling air filtration and indoor air quality products.

Manages and grows existing filtration accounts while achieving sales, margin, and territory performance goals across industrial, commercial, and institutional markets.

Identifies new opportunities by researching facilities, understanding HVAC/filtration needs, and targeting prospects such as hospitals, universities, manufacturing plants, and property management groups.

Prepares accurate proposals and filtration recommendations, resolves customer issues quickly, and communicates market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to leadership.

Collaborates closely with marketing, operations, engineering, and customer service to support product launches, technical solutions, and a unified sales strategy.

Analyzes territory performance, maintains account plans, stays current on IAQ regulations and filtration standards (ASHRAE, ISO), and represents the company at industry events and trade shows.

Qualifications

Self‑motivated sales professional with 5+ years of experience in HVAC, air filtration, IAQ solutions, or related technical product sales; bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred.

Skilled in value‑added technical selling, including filtration selection, pricing strategy, and communicating HVAC concepts to facility managers, engineers, and contractor partners.

Proven success selling to mechanical contractors, building engineers, facility managers, and decision makers in commercial and industrial environments.

Strong track record of meeting revenue and profitability goals, with excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), with the ability to manage a territory, prioritize opportunities, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Compensation Salary: $110k+ bonus, company car, expenses, + full benefits package
