OEM Account Manager

The OEM account manager maintains and expands relationships with Large OEM customers and is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned OEM account objectives.

Key Responsibilities

OEM Business Advisor

Understand and anticipate clients existing and future needs in depth and communicate this within team and organization

Develop compelling solutions to client issues that differentiate RFP from our competition

Tap into the wide resources and skills within our organization to develop solutions

Bring a fresh insight to clients’ business that will help them deliver a competitive advantage within their industry

Develop joint strategies that are mutually beneficial to both companies

Business Manager

Manage the business by fully understanding financial and strategic planning tools

Responsibility for profit and growth of the account

Responsible for setting and delivering key business metrics; inventory turn, profit, product portfolio

Allocate company resources and track accounts performance; make adjustments as necessary to achieve the plan

OEM accounts should be profitable accounts

Relationship Manager

Build and manage internal / external relationships involving ALL influential people

Relate at ALL levels in the organization from the shop floor to the CEO – fully infiltrate

Manage the contact matrix ensuring that all potential points of contact and influence are being served appropriately

Build trust throughout the account, influencing R&D, manufacturing, logistics, and admin functions

Build and lead cross functional teams that are able to anticipate and deliver solutions to meet account requirements

Motivate and set task direction for the team members without direct hierarchical control

Communicate the account strategy and direction effectively across the team, both within Roseburg and within the accounts organization

Involve the team or teams in the creation of the account plan

Maintain team motivation

Balance time between team, organization, and account requirements

Investigate quality problems in the market and communicate issues to the appropriate party to drive resolution

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business

Five (5) plus years’ technical sales experience in the building materials segment

Ability to deliver world class customer service

Ability to work in various computer platforms (Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel)

Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision

Positive demeanor and the ability to function within a team

Ability to multi-task in a changing, fast-paced environment

Excellent interpersonal skills

Understand and exhibit a sense of urgency

Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills

Strong self-motivation and organizational skills

A basic understanding of financial principles

A comprehensive understanding of the Roseburg product portfolio as well as our value over the competition

Good understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of our key competitors

Strong selling skills including listening, questioning techniques, identifying buying signals & negotiating

Valid driver license with a safe and proven driving record

Ability and willingness to travel overnight approximately 60% of the time
