About the Role NY Fire Detection is seeking a proven Sales Leader to drive revenue growth while building and scaling our sales organization. This producing leadership role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in complex sales environments and is energized by developing high‑performing teams. You will play a central role in shaping our revenue engine—originating and closing major opportunities, implementing disciplined sales processes, and recruiting top talent to support long‑term growth. This position offers a clear path from direct production to senior sales leadership as the organization expands.

Responsibilities

Originate and close complex system opportunities across construction and service markets

Lead strategy on high‑value pursuits and multi‑stakeholder deals

Recruit, hire, and develop high‑performing sales professionals

Implement structured sales processes, pipeline discipline, and forecasting rigor

Partner with executive leadership on territory design and go‑to‑market planning

Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure alignment between sold scope and execution

Qualifications

7–12+ years of quota‑carrying sales experience with progression into leadership

Demonstrated success scaling sales organizations and increasing revenue capacity

Proven ability to close complex, long‑cycle deals and lead teams to success

Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior decision makers

Experience in fire alarm, life safety, building systems, HVAC, security, or engineered solutions preferred

Pay range and compensation package Competitive executive‑level compensation with strong performance upside: $120,000–$150,000 base, OTE $200k+ in year one.
