Position Overview: The Concrete Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of concrete construction projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure project success from the pre-construction phase.
Key Responsibilities: • Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for concrete construction projects • Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope and requirements • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates • Assist in the preparation and submission of competitive bids and proposals • Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop accurate pricing • Maintain current knowledge of market pricing, materials, and industry trends
Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in concrete estimating or a related construction field • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and takeoff processes • Proficiency in PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced xsgimln environment • Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Experience: • Experience estimating foundations, slabs, footings, and structural concrete scopes • Familiarity with bid solicitation and subcontractor coordination
