About the Opportunity We are partnering with a mission-driven real estate investment and development firm focused on acquiring, preserving, and enhancing multifamily and affordable housing communities. This organization has a strong track record of executing complex transactions and creating long-term value through thoughtful asset management and strategic capital deployment. They are seeking a Senior Asset Manager to take ownership of a growing portfolio and play a key role in driving performance, executing business plans, and supporting capital markets initiatives.
Key Responsibilities • Oversee the performance of a portfolio of 10+ multifamily and/or affordable housing assets • Lead refinancing and loan conversion processes, including financial analysis, lender coordination, and execution • Partner with property management teams to drive operational performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to enhance NOI • Develop, review, and execute annual business plans and operating budgets • Monitor asset performance through regular reporting, financial reviews, and site visits • Coordinate lease-up activities for new developments and oversee commercial leasing efforts within mixed-use assets • Manage relationships with lenders, investors, and third-party partners while ensuring compliance with all agreements • Support capital markets activities, including evaluating refinancing opportunities and sourcing debt • Oversee cash management, forecasting, and reserve activity • Lead risk management efforts, including insurance claims and regulatory compliance • Represent ownership in meetings with key stakeholders, including municipalities and agencies
