Multifamily / Mixed-Use Residential Position Overview A reputable general contractor is seeking an experienced
Senior Superintendent with multifamily construction experience
to lead large-scale residential projects in
Santa Rosa and the North Bay . This role is responsible for overseeing all field operations, driving schedule performance, and ensuring high-quality execution on complex ground-up developments. The ideal candidate has deep experience in
multifamily construction (wood-frame, podium, or mid-rise)
and thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Field Leadership & Execution Lead all onsite construction activities from sitework through project completion. Manage Assistant Superintendents, field staff, and subcontractors. Coordinate multiple trades and ensure efficient sequencing of work. Drive daily production and maintain accountability across the jobsite. Scheduling & Logistics Develop and manage detailed construction schedules and look-ahead plans. Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, and workforce planning. Identify potential delays and implement recovery strategies. Quality Control Ensure all work meets plans, specifications, and company quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and oversee punch list and closeout processes. Coordinate closely with project management to maintain consistency and accuracy. Safety Leadership Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site. Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Proactively identify and mitigate jobsite risks. Team & Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, architects, and ownership teams. Lead subcontractor meetings and daily field coordination efforts. Mentor and develop junior field staff and emerging leaders. Qualifications 10+ years of construction experience, with significant
multifamily project experience . Proven track record as a
Lead or Senior Superintendent on ground-up multifamily projects . Strong knowledge of wood-frame, podium, or mid-rise residential construction. Ability to manage large crews and multiple trades simultaneously. xsgimln Excellent leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
