The Role The Senior Estimator will take full ownership of estimating efforts for complex commercial and industrial projects, partnering closely with preconstruction and operations to deliver reliable cost models from concept through GMP. This role is ideal for an experienced estimator who combines technical expertise with strong business judgment and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities Lead estimating efforts on projects ranging from
$2M–$10M , from conceptual through GMP phases Develop detailed and conceptual estimates using historical cost data and modern estimating tools Collaborate closely with operations and project teams during preconstruction Support bid strategy development and provide clear analysis on bid outcomes (wins and losses) Track post-award estimate accuracy and continuously improve estimating performance Utilize and support preconstruction platforms, including
Procore Preconstruction
modules
Baseline Requirements (Non-Negotiable) 7–12+ years
of estimating experience with a GC or specialty contractor Proven ownership of estimates on
$2M–$10M
construction xsgimln projects ASPE certification
or active pursuit Proficiency with modern estimating software and historical cost modeling Experience with
conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimating Strong Differentiators Experience setting up or utilizing
Procore Preconstruction
tools CPE or CCP certification Demonstrated collaboration with operations during preconstruction Track record of post-award estimate accuracy tracking Ability to clearly articulate why bids were won or lost
