Rainier Recruiting is partnering with a well‑known commercial office furniture dealer who is seeking a Business Development Manager. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new sales opportunities in the contract furniture and facility services sector. The individual will proactively generate leads through existing networks, company‑provided sources, and personal outreach, and work closely with clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions.
Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Compensation
- Annual salary $90,000 to $100,000 plus commission (negotiable)

Location: Hybrid. 3 days in office
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue commercial sales opportunities
- Create and execute a strategic business development plan
- Build strong relationships with key industry decision‑makers
- Promote customer satisfaction and revenue growth by delivering effective solutions
- Collaborate with prospective clients to design and coordinate office layouts and facility services
- Lead planning sessions with internal project teams to align on project scope and timelines
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred; 5–10 years of experience in B2B outside sales with a proven track record of success; experience in related fields such as office furniture, space planning, relocation, flooring, or facilities management is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong sales acumen including persuasive communication, presentation, and project coordination; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong time management and organizational abilities; ability to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets; collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
