Job Description
This role follows a flexible hybrid schedule, with two days per week in the office and three days working from home.
This role can be performed from the following Breakthru Beverage office locations.

- Performance Measurement and Standardization
- Drive uniformity and standardization in performance measurement with key supplier partners and customers, using analytics and insights as the focal point of discussions.
- Partner with Business Intelligence and Trade Leadership to standardize reporting across the organization.
- Monitor and measure continuity, standardization, and analytical actions within assigned BBG markets.
- Analytics Leadership and Insights Delivery
- Lead the Analytics & Insights team functions, including Syndicated Data, Corporate Reporting, and Insights, ensuring analysts provide sales insights to drive category, channel, and market-based solutions.
- Deliver supplier and customer-based insights from internal, syndicated, and industry-relevant data to provide actionable recommendations and solutions.
- Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence business direction by effectively communicating results to leaders.
- Continually provide recommendations on data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Strategic Planning and Business Growth
- Understand BBG and Supplier (brand) strategies and align customer analysis and insights accordingly.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and communicate changes in business trends to leadership, providing guidance on overall impact.
- Support strategic and analytic processes for new route-to-market changes or restructures.
- Oversee analytics related to customer segmentation and optimize alignment with BBG’s sales execution model, focusing on target segments.
- Subject Matter Expertise and Methodology
- Act as a subject matter expert in designing and recommending analytical approaches and methodologies to address key business issues, including commodity and channel-specific challenges (spirits, wine/beer/craft, National Accounts, etc.).
- Lead ad-hoc strategic projects and analyses, translating business inquiries into actionable reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Data-Driven Culture and Resource Optimization
- Drive a data-driven culture to promote informed decision-making, consumer-driven analytics, and business-objective-led planning across the enterprise.
- Harvest and optimize the value of BBG’s technology and resource investments in analytics within assigned markets.
- Forecasting and Reporting
- Develop, arrange, and optimize key reports and business forecasts to support and inform existing and future business initiatives.
- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in sales and marketing
- Ability to think critically, both quantitatively and qualitatively
- Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
- Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other analytical system tools/databases (e.g. PowerBI, SAP WEBI/BOBJ, Connected Excel, Nielsen, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency leveraging syndicated (Nielsen, Circana, etc.), consumer, shopper research and/or category management data
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Analytic and Reporting skills
- Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
- Advanced degree in business, analytics or a related field is preferred (e.g., MBA)
- Experience leading a team of analytic associates and driving standardization.
- Professional experience in beverage alcohol and/or consumer package goods is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Sales organization and deep understanding of sales / pricing processes/ trade development processes
- Expertise in local market(s) pricing and programming systems / regulations
- Experience with large-scale change management and driving change through influence
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone
- May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.
- Resolves issues which are often varied and non-routine. Undertakes analysis and investigation to solve issues.
