The Role We’relooking for a Marketing Associate to own the tactical execution of our marketing operations. This is ahands-onrole managing conferencelogistics, digital campaigns, and email execution.You’llwork in a small team where your organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects will directlyimpactour pipeline. If you thrive on checking tasks off your list and making things run smoothly, this role is for you. You’ll bring structure and execution discipline to our marketing programs while contributing ideas to improve processes and outcomes. Location: Chicago-based or within commuting distance. Primarily remote with 2 to 3 office days per month. Responsibilities Event Marketing & Project Management (50%) Own end-to-endlogisticsfor 20+ annual conferences, a critical driver of our lead generation. Coordinate booth materials, organize shipments from our office, and work withexhibit vendors. Manage exhibitor registrations, sponsorship agreements, show service orders (electricity, internet, badges), swag, and collateral shipments Obtain preshow attendee lists from associations, load into Salesforce, and coordinate with sales on calling campaigns and target account prioritization Create detailed preshow briefing documents coveringlogistics, competitive landscape, target accounts, and talking points Plan and coordinate small conference-related events such as customer receptions and prospect meetings Coordinate sponsored speaker sessions including AV needs and booth messaging alignment Upload post show leads into Salesforce, organize by priority, and coordinate sales follow up campaigns Track event expenses against budget andmaintainevent calendar and vendor relationships throughout the year Digital Marketing & PPC (25%) Managetherelationship with our digital agency to drive website traffic and lead generation through paid search, paid social, and organic SEO. Serve as primary point of contact with agency, providing campaign priorities and strategic direction Monitor campaign budgets and performance, trackingspendsand cost per lead Review weekly and monthly performance reports with agency andidentifyoptimization opportunities Coordinate with marketing leadership on budget allocation and strategy adjustments Update website content in WordPress as needed Track digital marketing budget and monthly spend Build and send email campaigns to customers and prospects in Mailchimp and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot). Segment lists,conduct A/B tests, and track performance Maintain prospect and customer databases in Salesforce andPlanhat Set up nurture sequences in Pardot for sales-flagged contacts Create targeted campaigns supporting sales outreach for conferences andaccount-basedefforts Pull data and lists from Salesforce for campaign targeting Report on email performance and engagement metrics weekly and monthly Additional Marketing Operations (5%) Maintain marketing files and assets Supportmonitoring ofRFPprocurement sites Track overall marketing budget and handlemisc.sales team requests You’llSucceedHere If You’reexceptionally organized and manage multiple projects without dropping balls. Job Qualifications: Required 2 to 4 years in marketing coordination, project management, or event management Experience managing eventlogistics(conferences, trade shows) Experience building email campaigns in marketing platforms Comfortable with CRM and marketing automation tools Comfortable using AI tools and eager to explore new applications for efficiency gains Strong project management and organizational skills Based in Chicago or within commuting distance Preferred Hands on experience with Salesforce, Pardot, and Mailchimp Google Ads or paid search campaign experience WordPress or basic website content management B2B SaaS or government/public sector marketing experience(but notrequired) Experience with exhibit vendors Bachelor’s degree inMarketing, Communications, or Business What We Offer A competitive salary and benefits package.
