The Bill Knight State Farm Agency is seeking an Account Manager who excels at customer service and relationship management, while also being comfortable identifying and acting on in-book sales opportunities. This is an in-office role ideal for a service-driven professional who understands that exceptional service naturally leads to meaningful coverage conversations.
You’ll serve as a trusted point of contact for existing clients—resolving needs, anticipating coverage gaps, and helping ensure policyholders are properly protected. While this is not a high-pressure sales role, the ability to pivot from service to sales in a consultative, needs-based way is essential.
Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you will support and retain the agency’s existing book of business while contributing to growth through policy reviews, cross-selling, and relationship-based recommendations. Success in this role is measured by service quality, retention, and your ability to identify appropriate coverage enhancements that benefit the client.
Licensing This position is licensing-contingent. Candidates must obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. Full licensing support is provided, and formal in-office training will begin once the Property & Casualty license is obtained.
What You’ll Do Serve as the primary in-office point of contact for existing clients, providing prompt and professional service
Answer coverage questions and explain policies in a clear, customer-friendly manner
Assist with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, and service requests
Support clients through the claims process and follow up as needed
Conduct proactive policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and in-book sales opportunities
Recommend additional products when they align with customer needs
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with agency and regulatory standards
Collaborate closely with team members to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience

Willingness to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (full support provided)
