This role blends people leadership, curriculum support, and day-to-day operations to ensure a high-quality experience for children, families, and staff.

What You'll Do
Support the Center Director with daily operations including staffing, scheduling, enrollment support, and classroom coverage
Coach, mentor, and develop Lead Teachers to strengthen performance and retention
Ensure strong, consistent implementation of the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® across classrooms
Maintain compliance with NYS OCFS licensing, health, and safety requirements
Partner with teachers to support positive family communication and engagement
Step in to problem-solve staffing, classroom, or parent concerns quickly and professionally
Help build a positive, accountable, team-first culture
What We're Looking For
Experience in a licensed childcare, preschool, or early learning center
Proven leadership — you've supported or led teams, not just classrooms
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices
Organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable multitasking
Confident xsgimln communicator with both staff and families
Meets New York State OCFS requirements for an Assistant Director role
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Preferred (Not Required)
