Are you a driven, strategic, and relationship-focused professional who thrives in high-touch client roles? We're looking for a Design Build Sales Consultant to lead clients through their project journey—from vision to completion. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, clear communication, and the ability to deliver exceptional client experiences in a fast-paced environment.
This is a fully on-site role.
Typical hours of operation are 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Relationship Ownership (50%)
Lead the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through project closeout
Serve as the primary client contact—set expectations, anticipate needs, and maintain consistent, proactive communication
Guide clients through design scope, timelines, and budget alignment
Use the client’s preferred communication method (phone, text, email) to deliver updates
Track and report on key sales metrics including pipeline activity, gross margins, and close rates
Work closely with design, production, and finance teams to ensure seamless project transitions
Ensure all sales documentation—estimates, proposals, and contracts—are complete, accurate, and aligned with production needs
Process Improvement & Ownership (10%)
Identify areas for improvement in estimating and sales systems
Partner cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to Hidden Creek standards
Maintain accurate records: project timelines, schedules, estimates, and projections
Attend pre-construction meetings, production reviews, and post-project closeouts
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience in sales, project management, or client services— preferably in landscape, construction, or design/build industries
Strong communication, follow-through, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple complex projects and clients simultaneously
Familiarity with CRM platforms and estimating software
Strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset
Willingness to attend client events, networking functions, and industry mixers to generate new business
A passion for design and outdoor living
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Employee will work in both an office and field environment; travel from site to site; exposure to computer screens.
Employee will be required to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time; operate motorized vehicles.
Employee will regularly be required to see in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents; and regularly required to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
