Personal Lines Account Manager

A well-established independent insurance agency is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join its team. This role focuses on servicing and managing a book of personal insurance clients while working closely with producers and carriers to deliver tailored coverage solutions. The agency represents a broad network of insurance carriers and provides customized insurance programs designed to protect clients’ homes, vehicles, and personal assets. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, policy servicing, and helping individuals and families understand their insurance coverage. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts Service policies including homeowners, auto, umbrella, condo, and renters insurance Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements Review coverage and advise clients on appropriate protection and coverage options Handle billing questions, coverage inquiries, and policy updates Prepare quotes and market policies with insurance carriers when appropriate Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up Work closely with producers to support new business and renewals Maintain accurate documentation in the agency management system Qualifications 2+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience Active Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain quickly) Experience working within an independent insurance agency environment Strong knowledge of personal insurance products such as: Homeowners Auto Excellent communication and client service skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts Experience with agency management systems is a plus Ideal Background Personal Lines Account Manager Personal Lines CSR Insurance Service Representative Experience supporting independent agents and multiple carriers What This Role Offers Stable, established insurance agency environment Long-term client relationships and strong referral business Collaborative team culture Opportunity to work with a wide range of insurance carriers and coverage programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
