This is a consultative sales + interior design role where you will create custom storage solutions and deliver a premium customer experience from concept to installation. Key Responsibilities As a California Closets Design Consultant, you will: Offer a luxury experience through product expertise and elevated service Provide in-home design consultations and space planning Design custom solutions using proprietary CAD software Work with interior designers, decorators, and architects Manage multiple client projects with strong attention to detail Travel daily to appointments in Rockland, Orange, & Sullivan counties Qualifications & Skills Experience in sales, interior design, home improvement, or related field Strong consultative sales and closing skills Ability to build rapport and develop client relationships quickly Highly organized with excellent time management Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects Strong communication and presentation skills Requirements Tech savvy – ability to learn proprietary CAD design software Must provide own laptop compatible with CAD program Must be able to travel frequently to Rockland, Orange, and Sullivan counties Valid driver’s license preferred Full-time availability, including evenings and weekends Compensation Paid training Uncapped commission structure On-target earnings: $85,000–$120,000+ Pre-set, qualified appointments provided Combination of client visits, remote design work, and occasional showroom collaboration *California Closets provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
