Overview The Sales Development Representative drives lead generation and sales growth for AD Retail Media. As the first line of communication with prospective clients, the SDR plays a critical role in the full sales cycle. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the sales process, excels at researching and qualifying leads, initiates new relationships, and partners closely with sales leadership to close deals. In addition to driving new business, the SDR will also manage and nurture an active book of business , ensuring clients receive consistent support and uncovering opportunities for continued growth.
The SDR should be a quick learner with excellent communication skills and the ability to present our offerings in a compelling, solution‑oriented way. Every potential customer represents an opportunity to accelerate top‑line revenue, expand our advertiser base, and strengthen long‑term profitability. AD Retail Media is part of a global framework, collaborating with peers across the Ahold Delhaize network to deliver best‑in‑class retail media solutions.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities Represent the leading CPGs sold within our Great Local Brands using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs
Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and close new business.
Identify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation playbook
Utilize Outreach, Salesforce, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services
Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Report to head of sales with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Requirements Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) or at least five years of relevant work experience
3 to 5 years of Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas
Two or more years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets
Strong communication skills via phone and email
Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
Dynamic and engaging communicator
Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software / Proficiency with Outreach
Solution oriented mindset / Analytical thinker
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to adverse situations
ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $65,028 - $97,542
IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $74,782 - $112,173
