Job Summary The Piper Fire Clearwater, FL branch is seeking a driven Account Executive to join our team. This is a high-impact, hunter-style sales role focused on identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, especially with former or untapped customers. The primary focus will be on Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Suppression, and related services. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the territory includes Clearwater, FL.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on prospecting, cold calling, and building relationships from the ground up, who takes initiative, pursues opportunities relentlessly, and drives growth through strategic outreach and solution-based selling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Actively hunt for new business opportunities and re-engage former Piper Fire customers, focusing on Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Suppression, and related services.
Prospect and develop direct negotiated sales with end users through cold calling, networking, and field outreach.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a minimum of 10 targeted sales calls per week.
Participate in weekly activity reviews to evaluate progress and refine strategy.
Conduct field surveys, customer visits, and cold calls to uncover and qualify leads.
Develop scopes of work and proposals for monitoring, maintenance, and inspection agreements.
Support business development efforts including lead generation, estimating, take-offs, and presentations.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer needs.
Maintain accurate records of proposals and customer interactions in HubSpot CRM.
Refer larger project opportunities to the Sales Manager for strategic handling.
Occasionally collaborate with other sales and engineering professionals across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED
Proven experience in B2B/Outside sales, preferably in Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Suppression, or related industries
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a hunter’s mindset
Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Comfortable cold calling/initiating contact with prospects and conducting field surveys
High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
Proficient in the use of computers and mobile devices
Organized, motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision
Ability to meet driving eligibility requirements, including holding a valid driver’s license and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record
Note: Role may require extended periods of sitting or standing, movement around the job site, and operation of standard equipment. Physical activities can include reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Field positions may involve heavy lifting, varying climates, construction or low-voltage environments, and exposure to dust, noise, or confined spaces. PPE may be required. Some roles may require travel.
