The Role We're hiring a Manager, Business Development to work closely with the VP of Corporate Development on high-impact growth initiatives, with a primary focus on franchise development, referral programs, and strategic partnerships.
This is a relationship-building, highly external-facing role. You’ll be the face of the company at conferences and industry events, owning everything from pre-event outreach to on-site engagement to post-event follow-up and pipeline management.
We're an early-stage and growing company, so this role requires someone who’s entrepreneurial, adaptable, and comfortable operating in an environment where priorities will shift.

Significant travel is required, primarily for conferences, trade shows, and periodic trips to our Miami headquarters.
Base salary: $100,000 – $160,000 (based on previous success/experience)
Bonus: Annual Bonus (paid quarterly) + Performance-based incentives

What You'll Do: Represent the company at franchise expos, industry conferences, and trade shows — owning pre-event outreach, on-site meetings, and post-event follow-up
Identify, engage, and qualify prospective franchisees through outbound outreach, inbound inquiries, and event-based networking
Pitch the company franchise opportunity and guide prospects through the full sales lifecycle, from initial conversation through signed agreement and onboarding
Build and manage a robust franchise development pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and movement through defined stages
Collaborate with Marketing to refine franchise messaging, materials, and follow-up campaigns
Support onboarding coordination and ensure a smooth transition from signed agreement to operational launch
Additional Strategic Initiatives Responsibilities in this area may expand or shift as the company grows.
Identify and recruit referral program participants and other strategic alliances aligned with The company’s target customer profile and market reach goals
Serve as a point of contact for participants throughout their prospecting lifecycle, including onboarding and active engagement
Coordinate monthly reporting and performance tracking for active participants and programs at-large
Identify and evaluate potential strategic alliances, including industry associations, service providers, and complementary platforms
Continuously refine strategies, structures, and engagement tactics in collaboration with the VP of Corporate Development
Cross-Functional & Operational Own CRM and pipeline tracking, ensuring all opportunities are accurately captured with timely updates, notes, and reporting to support forecasting and decision-making
Partner closely with Marketing to support event preparation, messaging, and follow-up campaigns
Represent The company as a polished, professional brand ambassador across all external interactions
Support additional strategic initiatives as business priorities evolve — this is an early-stage company and the scope of this role will grow with it.
Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or a growth-focused role
Experience representing a company externally at conferences or industry events
Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional, and relationship-driven style
Proven success in outbound prospecting, relationship management, and pipeline development
Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams
Familiarity with CRM and pipeline reporting tools
Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint etc.) and comfort leveraging technology- and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, reporting, and outreach.
Willingness to travel frequently (approximately +25–50%)
Preferred Qualifications Experience in the insurance, financial services, or professional services industries
Prior experience with franchise development, franchise sales, or franchise operations
Experience building or managing referral- or alliance-driven growth programs
