Salary and Benefits Competitive base salary of $70,000 - $80,000 plus 25% commission.

Responsibilities Provide expert advice on dental merchandise, equipment and service to Burkhart clients in a way that supports client and Burkhart success.
Focus on merchandise and small equipment sales to assigned clients while growing sales within existing clients and with new clients.
Drive the sales cycle and equipment/service sales volume by working closely with the Equipment Specialist and Service Technicians to nurture client relationships and develop new opportunities.
Manage each client through the sales process with integrity, dedication to client success, and strong teamwork.
This is an outside sales position that may require significant travel depending on the assigned territory.
What success looks like SALES GOALS: Meet volume, growth and margin targets for assigned product lines.
SALES GROWTH: Prospect for new clients and network to grow the business, including meeting Supply Savings Guarantee goals.
FULL SERVICE UTILIZATION: Clients use Burkhart for Equipment, Merchandise and Service.
EXCEPTIONAL CLIENT EXPERIENCE: Deliver professional, high-quality service and maintain strong client relationships as a collaborative team member.
CO-TRAVEL: When available and applicable, co-travel with Sales Account Managers, Equipment Specialists, Service Technicians, manufacturer partners, and regional leadership.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field required; significant experience in Dental Merchandise Sales may substitute for a degree.
4 years of successful outside sales experience in a medical or technical sales field.
Demonstrated success closing large equipment sales.
Ability to travel by car and airplane to client offices, meetings, trainings, and events; up to 50% travel may be required depending on territory.
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and insurability.
Preferred: dental sales experience.
