Position Summary:
Theideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desire andability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. Thisis a part-time, non-unit position with no benefits. The person in this rolewill join the Institute for Trauma, Adversity, and Resilience in HigherEducation, a resource for trauma-informed in higher education with a specialfocus on community colleges. This is a part-time, non-unit seasonal position(120 hours in total), through August 15th, 2026. This part-time temporaryposition will collaborate to create a short video that visually conveyseducational content on trauma-informed higher education pedagogies andpractices. We are looking for a collaborative professional to support theInstitute for growth consistent with our goals and values.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Collaborate with theInstitute for Trauma to conceptualize and execute engaging video content;
Create and edit motiongraphic video design and animations using software like Adobe PremierePro, After Effects, or similar tools;
Maintain consistency inbranding across all visual content;
Work independently andcollaborate in a team environment responsive to Institute for Traumamission through a constant process of feedback/editing from storyboards tofinal product;
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degreein Graphic Design, Film Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field;
Proficiency in video editing software (AdobePremiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.);
Knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop,Illustrator, Canva, etc.);
Strong creative vision with an eye forstorytelling and composition;
Excellent communication skills and attention todetail;
Creative mindset with the ability to createengaging and visually appealing content;
Ability to work independently and collaborate ina team environment responsive to the Institute for Trauma mission;
Ability to work in an organized manner anddemonstrate commitment to tasks;
Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in graphic designcollege-level degree-seeking program;
Motion graphic experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action;
Experience working in a community college or similar environment;
Demonstrated commitment to working with students in need.
Additional Information:
Salary Range: $25.00 per hour
