Business Development Representative Location : NE Metro Atlanta The Role Business Development Representative supportscontinued growth through outbound lead generation and early-stage prospecting. This is ideal for someone who is curious, motivated, and excited to build a foundation in consultative B2B sales. The BDR role focuses on generating new opportunities and booking first-time appointments for the sales team. You will work closely with Account Executives and leadership, learning Rocket IT’s services, ideal client profiles, and sales process. High performers will have a clear path to grow into a full Account Executive role over time. Responsibilities Prospect and engage new SMB organizations throughout NE Metro Atlanta Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and digital campaigns Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book first-time appointments (FTAs) Perform light discovery to understand business challenges and technology needs Support Account Executives by building and nurturing early-stage pipeline Maintainaccurateactivity tracking and lead notes within HubSpot Leverage sales and marketing tools including ZoomInfo and Google Ads campaigns Represent Rocket IT in a professional, relationship-driven manner Consistently meet activity and appointment-setting goals Requirements Growing a career in B2B sales Strong communicationskills and comfort engaging with new people Coachable, curious, and motivated to learn consultative selling Organized and able to manage outreach and follow-up activity Experience with CRM or sales tools such as HubSpot or ZoomInfo is a plus Comfortable with phone-based outreach and consistent prospecting Company Culture The Rocket IT team is made up of kind, curious, and creative problem-solvers who work and play by our values: Connect with People:We develop meaningful connections with clients, coworkers, and our community.
