We’re expanding our team with a Marketing Manager who can set strategy and roll up their sleeves—partnering closely with our entry-level Marketing & Communications Coordinator to elevate our brand, grow patient volume, and deepen community engagement.
Position Summary
The Marketing Manager is a player-coach responsible for building and executing the hospital’s integrated marketing strategy while directly supervising the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. This leader will combine high-level planning (annual plans, budgets, channel strategy, vendor selection) with day-to-day execution (campaign builds, content editing, event support, and analytics), ensuring efforts are HIPAA-compliant, data-driven, and aligned with organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
Directly manage the Marketing & Communications Coordinator: set goals, provide coaching, review work, and develop skills.
Build lightweight processes and standards (briefs, calendars, templates).
Strategy & Planning
Own annual and quarterly marketing plans for service lines and community programs.
Develop and present budget proposals, forecasts, and ROI models.
Establish brand governance and content guidelines.
Hands-On Execution
Partner with Coordinator to create and publish content across web, social, and email.
Lead community outreach programs and health fairs.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
Data, CRM & Measurement
Define KPIs and dashboards for patient acquisition and engagement.
Run A/B tests and optimize funnels.
Compliance & Reputation
Ensure HIPAA-compliant marketing practices.
Support reputation management and crisis communications.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive marketing experience in a hospital setting.
Demonstrated success in leading small teams and hands-on execution.
Proficiency with marketing tools (CRM, email, social, SEO/SEM, analytics).
Exceptional writing, editing, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CRM systems and analytics tools.
Experience proving ROI for campaigns.
Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant workflows; PR experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
MBA, MPH, or relevant certifications a plus.
