Overview Account Manager (Consumer) — $28,080 to $43,750 annually DOE, plus annual commission target of $30,000. Job Summary The Account Manager will be responsible for generating sales in multi-family units in their respective assigned regions. This includes networking with MDU property managers, assistant managers, leasing agents, and other property staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drive creative sales strategies in multi-family properties that will increase awareness and penetration
Host community events within MDU properties to encourage Ziply Fiber sign-ups
Make regular property visits to all MDUs in the assigned region, documenting key learnings
Participate in e-learning, classroom sales training, and associated curriculum with the Sales Trainer
Meet and exceed monthly sales performance expectations
Collaborate with Marketing on strategy, collateral material creation and distribution
Perform financial responsibilities including operational expense tracking, mileage reimbursements, and event expenses
Monitor industry developments (technical, regulatory, and otherwise) and apply critical thinking for strategic and customer impact analysis
Qualifications 6+ months of sales and/or customer service experience – OR – current or prior military service
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a calm, professional manner
Enthusiastic, persuasive, persistent, and able to handle rejection in the selling process
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and be a self-starter
Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
Professional demeanor when dealing with the public
Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment
Ability to drive safely on behalf of the company
Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively to meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and schedules
Excellent customer service skills
