The Fund Finance Association (FFA) is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Associate to help us plan, promote, and execute exciting events and programs that engage members in our Fund Finance Communities!
What You'll Do:
As a Senior Associate, Marketing & Events, you'll be responsible for the direction and oversight of the entire event lifecycle from planning, promotion, budgeting, and execution - to event follow-up and reporting. In working closely with the CMO, COO, and other senior members of the team, you will coordinate logistics, communications, and event marketing campaigns for the FFA and its ancillary groups including, but not limited to: NextGen, Diversity in Fund Finance, FFA Cares, and Women in Fund Finance (WFF).
Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the planning and execution of FFA events, including but not limited to: conferences, regional events, marquee events, FFA Universities, and webinars
Provide support and lead FFA affinity group (NextGen, Diversity in Fund Finance, and WFF) meetings, events, and other initiatives across all regions as assigned
Aide the CMO and COO in leading, mentoring, and developing Marketing & Events team members
Represent the FFA as the main point of contact for FFA affinity group events and FFA training courses as assigned
Oversee and optimize internal processes and workflows to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness across regions, committees, and FFA team members
Create, manage, and ensure adherence to individual event budgets
Conduct research to identify potential sponsors and speakers for events
Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, agenda creation, and onsite coordination and management
Create marketing communications – including email campaigns, social media posts (LinkedIn), newsletters, and website updates
Coordinate, edit, publish, and promote podcasts and newsletters
Support the development of event marketing strategies to increase attendance and engagement
Oversee and maintain event registration and attendee databases
Foster relationships with sponsors, committee members, and industry volunteers, while managing events for various regions across different time zones
Create and oversee post-event follow-up, analysis, and reporting
Support other marketing initiatives, as needed
Manage special projects as assigned, including but not limited to: the FFA’s Mentorship Program and the annual awards process
Other duties as assigned

10+ years of relevant work experience in an event planning role
Experience in fund finance or banking/legal industries preferred
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, with a concentration in Marketing or Events desirable
Proven track record of organizing successful corporate or industry events
Ability to work under pressure on multiple events simultaneously, while meeting deadlines with frequent interruptions and competing priorities
Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy
Ability to work independently as a self-starter, as well as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in Canva and HubSpot preferred
