We are at an exciting inflection point. We are expanding our social media presence across various channels. You will shape the social voice of a brand loved by professional makeup artists and everyday women alike, and you will play a direct role in growing our channels.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced, data-driven Social Media Manager to own and grow LimeLife’s presence across all social platforms. This is a hands‑on, strategic role: you will set the vision, build and execute the content calendar, manage paid and organic amplification, lead the UGC program, and translate performance data into decisions. You will also serve as the social media coach for our Beauty Guides and equip them with tools and best practices to grow their own social presence.
The right person has a proven track record of growing social channels from one milestone to the next — measured in followers, reach, engagement rate, and business outcomes — and can point to specific numbers that demonstrate it. The ideal candidate has experience with all platforms, including TikTok (Shop) and has ideally worked in beauty, fashion, or a similar industry such as CPG. This is a hybrid role with a Tuesday‑to‑Thursday in‑office requirement in Midtown, Manhattan, NY. You will be part of a larger, collaborative marketing team spanning NYC, Canada, and Paris, reporting to a Director‑level role based in the NYC office.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and own a comprehensive social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms, with clear KPIs and growth targets for each.
Drive measurable follower growth and all other social media KPIs per channel: set channel‑specific targets and own the strategy to achieve them through content quality, cadence, paid amplification, and community activation.
Present monthly and quarterly performance insights on key channel KPIs, along with actionable improvement recommendations, to C‑suite and leadership.
Oversee and contribute to content across all major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, LinkedIn, etc.) to drive traffic, engagement, conversions, and brand visibility.
Build brand excitement across the brand’s owned social channels by attracting new followers and transforming existing ones into engaged fans and ambassadors.
Collaborate with the sales team to design and implement a strong organic growth strategy to increase community size and engagement.
Train and coach Beauty Guides on social media fundamentals, platform best practices, content creation, and compliant messaging through live sessions and self‑serve materials. Design, build, and maintain a comprehensive Beauty Guide Social Media Toolkit. Comfortable presenting and coaching large groups of Beauty Guides virtually and in person.
Manage a monthly content calendar in alignment with DTC and global sales schedules, working cross‑functionally with internal teams to implement content.
Create campaign toolkits to maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels. Must have photo and video editing skills are a plus.
Oversee the social budget, including content creation, giveaways, seeding, boosting, and paid media.
Own community management and brand safety across all channels: monitor comments, DMs, and brand mentions; manage escalations; and ensure all Beauty Guide‑distributed content meets LimeLife compliance standards.
Monitor new social media trends, AI tools, and emerging channels; proactively recommend new platform opportunities to the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Visual Arts, or a related field. We welcome applications from candidates who meet all other criteria but hold a degree in a different discipline.
4+ years of social media strategy experience for a major brand or multinational company; fashion, beauty, or CPG industry background is a plus.
Skilled in campaign management, content strategy, and generating high‑performing content; experience with post‑analysis reporting and executive presentations.
Self‑starter, comfortable in fast‑paced settings, with experience in budget and vendor management.
Proficient in MS Office, Canva, Meta Business Suite, and basic photo and video editing tools (Photoshop, Final Cut, iMovie, Adobe Suite). Must have video editing skills
Passionate about social media, emerging trends, storytelling, and community building.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, balancing in‑office and remote responsibilities.
Excellent time management skills and a high sense of ownership and accountability.
Adept at using AI tools and exploring new technologies to improve workflow, shorten the creative process, and reduce costs.

Salary Range : $80 - 100K USD
