Business Development Representative (BDR)
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Representative to support our growth in the automotive dealer segment. This role is responsible for initiating and nurturing conversations with dealership decision-makers, advancing strategic partnerships, and uncovering new revenue opportunities with existing dealer partners.
This role focuses on driving revenue by identifying, researching, and converting dealership prospects into qualified sales opportunities. This role involves high-volume outreach via phone, email, and supporting marketing events to build partnerships.
The ideal candidate is confident communicating over the phone, email, and video, and enjoys building rapport and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. This position is based out of our Fort Lauderdale office, 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outreach to automotive dealerships via phone, email, and other communication channels
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership stakeholders, including owners, GMs, and department leaders
Identify, qualify, and advance new sales opportunities for the sales team
Support the growth of company partnerships by engaging, educating, and activating partners
Execute upsell and expansion opportunities with existing customers and partners
Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and pipeline activity in CRM
Collaborate closely with Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing teams to align messaging and strategy
Consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation targets
Qualifications
Proven ability to build relationships over the phone and through email
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort with cold outreach and objection handling
Highly organized with strong time-management skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient
Ability to quickly learn products, value propositions, and industry terminology
