Job Description Our client is seeking a Homeowner Underwriting & Business Development Specialist to support portfolio growth while maintaining underwriting discipline across homeowners liability and property lines. Compensation $65,000 - $85,000/year (based on experience) Annual bonus potential Pension Plan Comprehensive benefits package Flex schedule and ability to work remotely Company vehicle provided Requirements 2+ years of underwriting experience in homeowners liability and/or homeowners property Experience working for an insurance carrier or MGA with underwriting authority Strong understanding of homeowners coverages, forms, and rating Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to balance underwriting discipline with growth objectives Job Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with appointed agents and brokers Serve as a primary underwriting point of contact for agency partners Support new business growth by identifying market opportunities and underwriting profitable risks Participate in agency meetings, training sessions, and marketing initiatives Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive portfolio growth and retention Partner with internal teams including claims, actuarial, product, and compliance Monitor portfolio performance and assist with underwriting strategy adjustments Provide underwriting insight to support product development and market expansion Disclaimer: Please note that this job description may not cover all duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the role, and it is subject to modification at the employer's discretion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
