Field Marketing Manager

Suncoast Power Solutions, Tampa, FL, United States

Field Marketing Manager – Build the Most Dominant Team in Tampa Suncoast Power Solutions | Tampa Bay If you’re looking for an easy desk job, this is not it. This is a builder role for someone who has already recruited, trained, and led field marketing or canvassing teams – and wants the chance to own a market, not just manage a schedule. If you haven’t lived in the field, built teams from scratch, and been judged by hard numbers, this job will eat you alive. The Mission Your job is simple to define and hard to execute: Build the highest‑producing field marketing team in the Tampa Bay region. You will recruit, train, and lead a team responsible for generating qualified appointments through: Community events Retail activations Strategic territory campaigns Your team fuels the sales engine. The stronger your field marketing team, the faster the company grows. What You Will Actually Do Most companies write fluffy job descriptions. This one is simple. You will: Relentlessly source and recruit energetic field reps who want to make money and win as a team. Run a continuous recruiting process to stay ahead of growth and expected churn. Build and develop the team Train reps to engage homeowners, generate interest, and set high‑quality appointments. Create scripts, objection handling, and playbooks that convert conversations into sits and sales. Build a culture of energy, accountability, and competition. Recognize top performers, address underperformance quickly, and keep standards high. Lead from the front (working manager) Spend meaningful time in the field each week: in neighborhoods, retail locations, and events, building momentum with your team. Run ride‑alongs, live coaching, and side‑by‑side training—not just meetings and reports. Drive performance and own the numbers Track and manage: doors knocked, leads generated, sit rates, close rates, cost per acquisition, and territory productivity. Adjust territories, staffing, and messaging based on data, not gut feel. Partner with Sales leadership on lead quality, handoff, and feedback from the home. This role is NOT for beginners. To apply, you must: Currently work in field marketing, canvassing, or door‑to‑door / event‑based lead generation. Have prior leadership experience managing field teams (not just “helping out” as a senior rep). Have a track record of building or scaling lead generation teams, not just inheriting a good one. Be comfortable recruiting and hiring constantly. Be comfortable leading teams in door‑to‑door or event environments where activity and attitude matter every day. If your current job is not in field marketing, canvassing, or D2D / events, this role is not a fit. The Type of Leader We Want A canvassing manager in solar, roofing, HVAC, or generators A field marketing team lead You probably: Move fast and hate red tape Have high energy and like to be in the field Love competition and hate mediocrity Know how to motivate people and hold them accountable Are comfortable being measured on hard numbers every week What You Get We reward leaders who produce results. Aggressive performance bonuses tied to team production and quality Resources to recruit, train, and scale a team quickly Clear metrics for success and autonomy to build “your” program the right way Fast‑track growth opportunities into multi‑market or Regional Field Marketing leadership for top performers Compensation Base Pay: $40,000 Performance Bonuses: $80,000 – $150,000 potential Final Thought Average managers build average teams. We are building something different. We want a leader who can walk into a market and say: “We’re about to own this territory.” If that sounds like you, apply now with your resume and a brief summary of the field or canvassing team you’ve built—where it started, where you took it, and the numbers to prove it. #J-18808-Ljbffr
