Job Summary
PURE+FREEFORM is currently experiencing rapid growth in a growing market, and we are seeking a Construction Business Development Specialist to join our team to play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The Construction Business Development Specialist is responsible for maximizing and growing revenue and profits by expanding opportunities with existing customers and acquiring new business. The key responsibility of the Construction Business Development Specialist is to conduct business in a way that creates a superior customer experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up, as well as future product sales.
This in-office position resides in the Twin Cities, and offers a benefits package including competitive base salary, bonus, 401(k) with 4% match, medical/dental benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, disability and life insurance, etc. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
Own and continually grow sales by utilizing strategic programs and offerings
Research accounts, identify key players and leads, generate interest and develop accounts to specify products
Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with customers (architects, designers, general contractors, fabricators, installers, and millworkers)
Use proven corporate sales strategies, demonstrating our key differentiation, to build and maintain project portfolio
Drive sales through product knowledge, enabling quick alignment to key business objectives of customers
Build and maintain CRM tool with current and up to date information
Assist with following up on customer leads
Continuously measure and analyze market potential and trends
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
Understand customer needs and requirements
Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
Conduct continuing education product presentations
Maintain and expand the database of prospects
Work with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience working with CRM tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
Must be able to travel as required (~35%)
Experience and Education
BA/BS degree preferred in Architecture, Marketing, Interior Design, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Two+ years of sales experience in building materials, architectural firms, or related field a plus.
