Position Overview Responsible for developing and executing market strategies that drive profitable growth and increase share for the Oilfields market segment in Natural Resources Business Unit. This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the US.
Job Responsibilities Strategic Market Plans
Create and maintain market segment growth plans utilizing WTP and HTW methodology
Develop and implement customer segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize marketing and sales efforts
Engage with customers, across the value chain and with industry experts to identify unmet needs and gain key insights
Conduct thorough market research, in partnership with the strategic marketing team, to identify new growth opportunities
Monitor and analyze market, industry and competitive trends, providing insights and recommendations to inform future marketing strategies
Grow The Business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, technology, marketing and finance, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of strategic market segment plans
Identify and execute on pricing and variable margin improvement opportunities
Expand the core – innovate to expand offerings and customers for the Oilfields market segment
Provide recommendations to develop and prioritize innovation ideas and projects to deliver, capture, and maintain value
Identify and pursue growth through research and actively seeking out new sales opportunities
Assist in creation of a growth pathway and go-to-market strategies for new products and achieve financial targets
Support marketing campaigns and leads development for growth initiatives in partnership with marketing communication managers
Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and build brand awareness
Knowledge And Skills Bachelor’s degree, preferably in chemistry or related field
MBA with Marketing or Strategy concentrations preferred
Knowledge of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Scavenger products
Attributes Strong marketing capabilities in a range of marketing excellence tools
Expertise in communications / presentations
Strong collaboration skills to build relationships internally and in the industry

Entrepreneurial mindset
Experience 7+ years experience in Oil and Gas industry, preferably in marketing or business development
Experience developing and executing market strategies that drive profitable growth and increase share for hydrogen sulfide scavenger products
Experience conducting Market Research to determine GTM, How-to-Play and How-to-Win strategies
Experience in strategic marketing or strategic consulting is strongly recommended/preferred
Strong financial acumen
Experience navigating a matrix organization, driving alignment to build new growth platforms and/or implement business transformation projects
