Account Executive, Sales at Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
This role focuses on generating advertising revenue by engaging agencies, prospecting new clients, and presenting television advertising solutions.
Responsibilities
Implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
Establish credible relationships with the local business community.
Make sales calls to existing and prospective clients.
Maintain assigned accounts and develop new accounts.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients.
Explain how specific types of advertising will best promote clients’ products or services.
Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media.
Develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel responsible for placement.
Work with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications, or equivalent experience.
Minimum one year of sales experience, preferably in the media field.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Experience achieving long‑range objectives and implementing strategies to reach them.
Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
Non‑Union Full‑Time Salaried
Salary Range: $50,000.00 – $110,000.00 annually, commensurate with experience and skill level.
