It provides renewal information, contract management, renewal reminders, and procurement insights. About the role and responsibilities are described below.
About The Role We are seeking a Sales Associate to join the SpendHound go-to-market team. You will assist in acquiring new clients, qualify and follow up with inbound leads and marketing qualified opportunities, proactively generate leads through outbound activity, manage a full sales cycle, and close new business opportunities.
This role is part of a new startup team with the resources of a larger company, offering experience in an earlier-stage sales environment with frequent iteration and opportunities to take on additional responsibilities.
This position offers potential for growth within a brand-new segment for the company.
In this role, you’ll gain experience in Running a full sales cycle from initial outreach to close
Working on both inbound and outbound opportunities
Selling to C-level executives
Working in a startup environment as part of a small go-to-market team for a new product
You are likely to succeed if You have 3+ years in a high-velocity sales environment (SaaS preferred), either as a top-performing SDR/BDR or Account Executive (1 year of selling and 1 year of acquisition)
You have strong interpersonal and phone/video communications skills
You have strong email communication skills
You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment where things can change quickly
You are organized and can manage a large pipeline of opportunities

The annual salary for this position is anticipated to be up to $132,000, On-Target-Earning ($70,000 Base + $62,000 Uncapped Bonus). Final offer may vary by experience and internal benchmarks.
