About The Role We are launching a new Fitness Vertical and are seeking an SEO-focused Associate Content Manager to build and lead a search-driven content team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing SEO content strategies that increase rankings, drive qualified traffic, and generate conversions for fitness clients. If you are a strategic thinker who understands search intent, content performance, and scalable systems, this is an opportunity to build something from the ground up.

What You’ll Do Develop and execute content strategies tailored to fitness brands and businesses
Conduct industry research to stay current on fitness trends, audience behavior, and competitive positioning
Perform keyword research and search intent analysis to guide SEO-driven content planning
Create and oversee production of blogs, landing pages, website content, email campaigns, and paid ad copy
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging guidelines, and marketing objectives
Optimize content for search visibility, engagement, and conversions
Collaborate with SEO specialists to implement on-page best practices, internal linking strategies, and content updates
Review and edit content to maintain quality, accuracy, and consistency
Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of projects
Build and refine scalable workflows for content production
Mentor and provide feedback to a content team focused on supporting the fitness vertical
Support new client onboarding with strategic content planning
Maintain documentation of processes, standards, and best practices
Contribute to long-term vertical growth through content innovation and thought leadership
What We’re Looking For 3 to 5+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or digital marketing
Proven experience managing or mentoring a small team of writers or content contributors
Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, keyword research, and search intent
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive traffic and conversions
Experience creating high-performing blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, and website content
Strong editing skills with attention to clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with SEO, paid media, design, and account teams
Ability to build and improve workflows for scalable content production
Understanding of audience targeting and customer journey mapping
Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have) Experience working with fitness brands or within the fitness industry
Agency experience managing multiple client accounts
Experience building content calendars tied to revenue or lead-generation goals
Experience with content performance tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platforms
