
Digital Marketing Coordinator – Social Media & Reputation

The Digital Marketing Coordinator – Social Media & Reputation is a key member of the Lakefield Veterinary Group Marketing Team and is responsible for the strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting of organic and paid social media programs and hospital reputation management across our veterinary hospital network.
This role reports to the Senior Marketing Manager and partners closely with internal marketing, operations, and analytics teams, as well as hospital leadership, to strengthen brand presence, drive engagement, support new client growth, and enhance the overall client experience.
This individual will manage company and hospital-level social media execution, oversee reputation management programs and vendor relationships, support hospital Social Media Liaisons, support email marketing, and analyze performance trends to inform continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Work Location: Hybrid Model / Kent, WA Office (3 days a week - Relocation required)
Schedule: 40-hour work week - Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Execution
Own the planning, execution, and optimization of social media programs across platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, Additional platforms as assigned (e.g., TikTok, Google Business Profile, Nextdoor)
Implement hospital social media content plans and calendars, including: Veterinary Education national campaigns, Annual national campaigns, Company-wide hospital-specific promotions, One-off requests from Hospital, Marketing, and Operations teams
Manage and maintain a social media annual plan and content calendar to ensure consistent posting and campaign alignment
Design and deploy social media creatives (static, video, copy) aligned to brand standards and campaign goals
Develop and execute organic and paid (boosted only) social media campaigns to attract new pet owners, drive appointment bookings, promote services, promotions, and seasonal initiatives
Social Media Optimization, Testing & Trends
Actively optimize hospital social media channels to improve engagement and performance
Develop and execute A/B testing strategies for social campaigns, including creative formats, messaging and CTAs, posting cadence and placement
Stay current on social media trends, best practices, and platform updates that impact hospital performance
Partner with analytics stakeholders to monitor and analyze social media performance metrics and insights
Hospital Social Media Liaison Support
Support and enable the Hospital Social Media Liaison program (80+ participants) through training and education, best practices and resource development, ongoing guidance and troubleshooting, and empower hospital teams to effectively manage local, in-clinic, and community-focused social content
Reputation Management Program Ownership
Oversee and direct the hospital reputation management program, including developing and facilitating processes and best practices, managing and optimizing hospital business listings, supporting reputation acquisition initiatives
Provide education and training to hospitals on review response best practices, reputation score improvement strategies, and expanding and optimizing reputation acquisition efforts across business listings
Manage reputation management vendor relationships and account licenses, including new hospital account setup, user access management, troubleshooting and issue resolution
This role does not require responding to all hospital reviews but does include providing guidance to hospitals, supporting escalation processes, and assisting with review flagging when needed.
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
Track, analyze, and report on social media engagement and performance metrics, reputation scores, trends, and acquisition volume
Identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities across hospitals
Provide regular insights and recommendations to the Senior Marketing Manager and key stakeholders
Translate performance data into actionable strategies for improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
Partner with internal Marketing, Operations, and Analytics teams to align social and reputation efforts with broader business goals
Support additional digital marketing initiatives as assigned by the Senior Marketing Manager
Ensure consistent brand representation and messaging across all social and reputation touchpoints
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or reputation management
Experience managing social media platforms for brands or multi-location businesses
Strong understanding of social media performance metrics and optimization strategies
Experience working across multiple hospital or business locations
Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Canva.com or Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with social media management tools (e.g., SOCi, Sprout Social, Yext, or similar)
Preferred
Experience supporting multi-location, retail, healthcare, or service-based businesses
Familiarity with veterinary, healthcare, or pet-related marketing
Experience with reputation management platforms and business listings
Knowledge of Monday.com or similar project management tools
Knowledge of Canva.com or similar design tools
