This position will be based in a midwest or upper midwest location (target locations are Minneapolis, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago).

Provide quality customer service and increase customer base in new and existing markets for Uniform Color products.
Responsibilities
Call on existing and prospective customers, ensure that Uniform Color is providing a quality product and a high level of customer service; and troubleshoot and resolve any problems they may be experiencing
Generate and develop sales leads within the sales territory to close new opportunities and achieve sales goals.
Develop a network of relationships within the customer organization beyond procurement (e.g., Operations, Technology, Senior Leadership, etc.) to develop new business
Tailor value propositions to ensure customer benefits are communicated and understood
Continuously search for and penetrate new markets and prospective customers
Achieve a favorable pipeline to continue growth initiatives
Periodically contact former customers to update them on new products and/or services available, and show our interest in working with them in the future.
Work with customers for visual and physical color approvals.
Provide customer support functions including price negotiations, collection assistance, quality issues, office duties (i.e., correspondence, quotations, filing), and any other duties deemed necessary to the success of the UCC Sales Department.
Collaborate with all UCC departments to ensure our customers are provided with the required resources to ensure timely project movement
Work within the team selling approach
Preferred Experience, Training, and Skills
5+ years in critical color concentrate sales in Consumer, Construction, Packaging, Appliance or Automotive markets
Knowledge and technical understanding of plastic resins, molding operations and customer uses
Knowledge of various molding processes; including injection molding, sheet extrusion, blow molding, and more
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, business or related field
