About the Role This is a deeply trusted, mission-critical position with high visibility and long-term growth potential. The Prospect & CRM Manager will support a high-performing Investor Relations team. This is a newly created role designed to bring structure, insight, and strategic rigor to donor data, prospect research, and CRM operations as the organization enters its next phase of growth. This position sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and relationship management. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building systems from the ground up, stewarding sensitive information with discretion, and helping fundraisers focus their time on the right prospects at the right moment. What You\'ll Do CRM Ownership & Data Strategy Serve as the primary owner and administrator of the organization’s donor CRM
Lead CRM configuration, optimization, reporting, and user training
Establish and maintain data standards, documentation, and best practices
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and ongoing database hygiene
Prospect Research & Moves Management Design and manage a comprehensive prospect management system
Lead prospect research efforts using tools such as Altrata and Wealth-X
Qualify, prioritize, and assign prospects to fundraiser portfolios
Manage the flow of prospects through the pipeline, ensuring clarity and consistency
Translate research and data into actionable insights for frontline fundraisers
Reporting & Cross-Functional Partnership Build and deliver clear, executive-ready reports and dashboards
Partner closely with Investor Relations leadership, fundraisers, and Finance
Support gift processing, acknowledgment workflows, allocation tracking, and reconciliation
Provide data and analysis to support forecasting and strategic planning
Process Building & Continuous Improvement Create scalable systems and workflows to support a growing fundraising operation
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, clarity, and effectiveness across data processes
Help others become more effective users of data through training and support
Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing a CRM or donor database (we use StratusLIVE, but you don\'t need direct experience with it)
Experience in fundraising operations, prospect research, or development services
Strong understanding of moves management and donor strategy
Proven ability to turn data into insight and narrative
High attention to detail and comfort with hands-on data work
Strong communication skills and sound judgment
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Experience presenting data to senior leadership or boards preferred
Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising environments is helpful, but not required
