Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy business strategies that are creative, dynamic, and impactful for the Americas, and lead the Hotel Sales and Marketing process.
Oversee commercial strategies for the hotel to improve asset performance by connecting strategy and business processes across revenue streams (Rooms, Catering, Events, and Marketing).
Move business analytics and processes to a predictive and prescriptive approach to drive performance.
Develop and communicate commercial strategies and standards through structured cadence and analysis of revenue performance against goals.
Produce the hotel’s Annual Multi-Year Commercial Strategy Plan in partnership with on-property leaders and regional support.
Connect hotel performance needs with Hilton enterprise solutions for key market segments.
Set the strategy and delivery of hotel revenues including group rooms, banquets, catering, business transient, and leisure transient.
Collaborate with Commercial Leadership on Business Review Guidelines and Group Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies to maximize pricing components of sales and catering opportunities and achieve positive group market share.
Support hotel B2B and digital marketing activities and ensure online hotel content is accurate and effective.
Establish optimal business mix, review and validate revenue forecasts, and develop strategies for different demand periods; review and approve retail and group pricing.
Work with Executive Committee to maximize profits in line with GOP and EBITDA targets.
Develop and manage departmental expense budgets and forecasts.
Maintain real-time knowledge of competitor and market activity.
Execute the Sales and Catering annual SIP (Sales Incentive Program).
Lead the Leadership team in weekly, monthly, and quarterly Sales & Marketing Optimization processes and translate outcomes into actionable strategies.
Contribute to annual Commercial Cadence communications on performance drivers.
Ensure adherence to Hilton brand standards and corporate identity; coordinate with communication tools.
Recruit and retain all sales and marketing roles; lead, engage, and develop team members with performance and career development plans.
Conduct performance reviews for direct and dotted-line reports and provide feedback across teams (e.g., Business Transient Sales, Marketing).
Facilitate a culture aligned with Hilton’s Inclusion and ESG goals.
Own performance and commercial activity reporting for the hotel and present strategies to key partners and ownership groups; maintain transparency and timely communication of performance targets and gaps.
Liaise with Hilton Worldwide Sales and regional/brand teams; build strong relationships with CVB, community influencers, and travel partners.
Maintain high engagement with customers across sales segments; support site visits and pre-convention meetings; support sales travel to feeder markets.
Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of hotel sales, catering, or marketing experience.
Management experience at director level.
Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience in a full-service hotel.
Ability to travel on short notice and adapt to schedule changes.
Experience in hotel management or related industry; cross-brand or product-line experience preferred.
Strong professional presentations and communication skills (oral and written).
Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office; ability to perform critical analysis.
Additional/advanced degree coursework in business administration, marketing, or communications is helpful.
Adaptable experience with business strategy, planning, and development; experience in large matrix organizations; multilingual ability; multiple brand experience; Hilton software familiarity.
Compensation and Benefits The annual salary range is $160,000–$210,000, based on applicable experience and location.
