Read on… The Fun Stuff Defineinterface requirements by collaborating with users and stakeholders. Collect and analyze user behaviors and needs through user research. Designuser flows,sitemaps, wireframes,andhigh-fidelitymockups that are intuitive and present a clear flow of information. Brand and designUIs, definestyle guidesto ensure consistency in the interface. Collaborate with teammates that may include other designers, project managers, developers,engineers,and product champions. The Necessities You have a bachelor’s degree in human factors engineering, graphic design, or a similar field, and at least five years of experience (more for higher levels). You’ve mastered Photoshop, Illustrator, and prototyping software to design sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes. Your design sensibility is refined and purposeful, and the artifacts you create are beautiful and functional. Talking to users and soliciting their feedback is second nature, and you can articulate design concepts to a variety of audiences. Conducting user research through surveys, focus groups, and usability testing to gather and analyze user feedback is a mission you care about. You have excellent communication skills, both writing and speaking. Desired: Experience with Agile development. The Place to Be Work location is in Columbia, MD. Partial telework available depending on work requirements. Salary Details Salary range provided during the selection process. Exact pay will be determined based on individual factors that may include years of experience, contract requirements, billable vs. non-billable, position urgency/demand, and location/telework options.
