Sr. Campaign Operations & Development , Brand Innovation Lab, US Job ID: 3191541 | Amazon Advertising LLC BIL US is looking for a Principal, Campaign Operations and Development to join the team in NYC or LA. This leader serves as a pivotal driver of alignment and execution of BIL custom campaigns, sponsorships, and experiences across our four vertical pods while operating closely with the Brand Partnerships team for BIL, Twitch, and Prime Video, as necessary. Acting as the central hub for standardized asset development and delivery, campaign workflows, production alignment, and team project planning, this role ensures that campaigns within and across BIL US pods are strategically coordinated and executed while making optimal use of team resources. With a focus on operational excellence and creative innovation, the Principal, Campaign Operations and Development partners closely with pod leads, creative teams, SM Managers, Technologists, LCS, Finance, Premium Content Production, and the Global Head of Operations. This role requires someone who thrives in dynamic, ambiguous environments; can quickly cultivate strong, cross‑functional relationships; both fosters and champions collaboration; and is exceptional at building processes, mechanisms, and shared ways of working to deliver bar‑raising results. Key Job Responsibilities Manage all operational aspects of BIL US campaigns in partnership with SM Managers, including workflows, timelines, capacity, budget, and resourcing. Partner cross‑functionally to identify and help create multi‑channel campaigns to deliver a steady cadence of coverage, conversation, engagement, and awareness. Work with pod leads to set clear, attainable objectives, build and gather requirements, and manage constraints, maintaining scope, quality, and success of all BIL US campaigns. Identify opportunities to streamline, optimize, or deprecate systems that no longer serve the business. Own relationships with external vendors and manage business relationships with external agencies. Design and improve workflows that support the end‑to‑end marketing sales funnel. Effectively utilize AI in campaign planning, optimization work, and partnership collaboration, improving cross‑team centralization and standardization of workflows. Work across pods to ensure projects are prioritized relative to team and business goals. Anticipate and mitigate blockers to campaign execution; drive timely and effective communication with stakeholders; utilize escalation paths appropriately. Proactively surface risks, gaps, and opportunities to optimize. Manage vendor onboarding and set‑up, including contracts, invoices, and all Legal/Finance/Production needs. Use and/or build dashboards and scaled communication mechanisms to document and report on timelines, initiatives, and project status. Drive adoption of planning tools across orgs. Systematize the intake and assessment process across pods; develop clear processes for intake, review, and iteration cycles. Develop solutions that allow for greater access to BIL services for key partners, navigating historic spend thresholds and creative capacity with overall value to Amazon. Manage implementation and allocation of creative and business resources across campaigns and pods. Drive high‑level campaign operations; own key docs, meetings, goal planning/tracking, resource planning, and communications across pods. Oversee big‑picture operational management of US Lighthouse and purpose‑driven campaign executions. Use diplomatic skills to collaborate and achieve approvals across different stakeholder groups. Be the conduit between existing teams and campaign, sponsorships, and experiences leaders. Develop mechanisms for cross‑pod sharing and collaboration. Establish quality standards and review processes. About the Team Brand Innovation Lab (BIL) is an internal group within Amazon Ads that creates one‑of‑a‑kind campaigns and activations for global advertisers. Using all of the different creative touch‑points across The Amazon Canvas, we create full‑funnel campaigns that reach millions of Amazon shoppers across our digital channels and out in the real world, connecting brands and customers in unexpected ways. Basic Qualifications 6+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements. Experience with Excel or Tableau for data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables. Experience communicating results to senior leadership. Experience building, executing, and scaling cross‑functional marketing programs. Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data. Preferred Qualifications Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights. The base salary range for this position is $125,400.00 – $169,600.00 USD annually in Santa Monica, CA and $137,900.00 – $186,500.00 USD annually in New York, NY. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
