Coordinator, Broadcast Operations

Direct Supervisor: Sr. Director, Broadcast Engineering & Operations Status: Full-time Summary The Broadcast Coordinator is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and day-to-day functionality of the in-house television network throughout Hard Rock Stadium. This role assists with the monitoring, troubleshooting, and support of IPTV systems, including all associated endpoints and display devices. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a live-event environment. This position requires flexibility, including after-hours and weekend work to support events and broadcasts. Location This is a full-time position based on-site at the Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Gardens) Responsibilities Support the daily operation of the in-house television and IPTV network across Hard Rock Stadium Assists with script creation/editing and content management Assists in “Event Operation” of all IPTV technologies Responsible for maintaining "Proof-of-Play/Air Check” affidavits Assists Broadcast Operations with the preparation of the digital and coax in-house television network and IPTV endpoints Support IPTV endpoints, including displays, set-top boxes, encoders, decoders, and control systems Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on broadcast and IPTV equipment Capable of meeting ad-hoc demands as defined by management and staff relative to IPTV and Broadcast Technologies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in technology, Broadcast or Video Engineering, or at least 5+ Years of related experience Experience supporting broadcast, IPTV, AV, or video distribution systems Able to work in a fast-paced live production environment Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as dictated by events Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a fast-paced environment Featured Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance (including voluntary coverage for spouses and children) Long term disability insurance Ticket benefits for events including Miami Dolphins games, the Formula 1Crypto.comMiami Grand Prix, and the Miami Open Employee gym, subsidized lunch program, and discounts on a variety of products and services 401k, Paid time off (PTO), and company holidays The Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and South Florida Motorsports are proud to be Drug-Free Workplaces.
